Kilkeel Community Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Kilkeel Development Association held a Kilkeel Community Platinum Jubilee Celebration in the Lower Square on Friday 3rd June.

They held a Variety Concert in ‘Celebration of Mourne Local Talent’ including dancing and more. They also held a Vintage Afternoon Tea and BBQ which was catered by Top Nosh.

There was also a Jubilee ‘Make it Local’ Craft Market which showcased local small businesses with a wide range of vendors from candles, jewellery and hand-made crafts.

There were also children activities which ranged from a Treasure Hunt, face painting, arts and crafts, balloon modelling show, colouring competition and many more.

The event was a huge success which saw footfall increased in the area and boosted spending in local businesses too.
