In Northern Ireland there are only 7 wheelchair basketball teams, I caught up with a local team the Causeway Giants who train in the Ulster University campus in Coleraine. I attended a training session with them and got invited to cover their matches in the NI Wheelchair basketball league in Belfast. I had an interview with the club chairman Stevie Heron who told me about the community they are building within their club for people with disabilities. At the league game I spoke to the referee of the match and the coach of the Causeway Giants about the performance of the team during the playoffs.
